cool mist humidifiers must be washed daily with a bleach solution to kill mold spores -try a vaporizer instead (it’s cheaper too). more important is the nebulizer -it will open her airways quickly & save her life. give the child her meds EXACTLY as prescribed along with plenty of fluids. wash all hands well, let her rest, and follow up with her doctor or pulmonologist.
