Do you think a vaporizer/humidifier would help a puppy with upper respiratory symptoms?
Hi! We our currently awaiting test results on our pup to see if she has distemper or not, but she currently has had upper respiratory symptoms the past couple of weeks (under vet care-on a couple of antibiotics but not responding). She seems to always have the crusty, congested nose in the morning when she wakes up and I’m starting to wonder if it is the air conditioning in our house making her more like this??(We turn our ac down to 74 at night)…..Do you think a humidifier/vaporizer would help her at night??? If so, does it matter if it is cool/warm mist? She sleeps in the kitchen so we could keep it on the counter out of reach from her. Any suggestions welcome!!!

A humidifier will help, but you may want to consider nebulizing. You can do this with a nebulizer from the pharmacy and some saline solution. It helps to break up the congestion so it drains out.
