whats the difference between a vaporizer and a humidifier and what is better for my sons cough and cold?
I just had this discussion with the pharmacist at our local Walmart because my daughter was sick and SO stuffed up! A vaporizer gives off warm air and is good when you are using it to deal with colds but only for a SHORT period of time. A humidifier does the same job with keeping moisture in your home but blows out cooler air and is good for LONG term usage. Also with a vaporizer I found it got very wet where it was blowing so you may want to put a towel down if you choose to go that route..Good luck
