Is breathing lime dust from an ultrasonic humidifier dangerous?
Lime dust is not what I would call healthy. Routine cleaning is required. If you follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and then buy distilled water, it will reduce the amount of lime deposits. Although if the humidifier is a room type the lime dust will dissipate into the room and your expose will be limited. But it sounds like a housekeeping issue.
