Walls sweating & need to provide more insulation in the attic? Any other options or suggestions?
We just bought a house, and the home inspector told us that we should definitely put more insulation in the attic ASAP, and also it needs more vents up there. (We will install roof vents. Whatever they are called). …… We are planning on doing this in about 3-4 weeks. With it being pretty hot outside and humid, can this contribute to our walls sweating, and also some of the light switch covers, we noticed, have started warping a little bit. They are curved @ the corners…..Is this from the heat in the attic? Is there anything else we need to plan on doing to take care of this problem?
We do have a Humidifier (it’s installed IN THE HOUSE, the control for it is right under the thermostat). Nobody has messed with it. No clue if it works. If it does, would this help, and what setting would I put it at?

Depending upon your climate, you might consider radiant barrier technologies. They are quite effective in regulating attic temperature which results in better heating and cooling efficiency in your home and can increase the life of your heating and cooling systems.
