What helps ease teething-induced runny noses?
My 8 month old daughter is cutting some top teeth and her nose is like a faucet! She’s having a hard time sleeping because she likes her pacifier in her mouth when she falls asleep, but then she can’t breathe.
Is there anything I can do to help her? The humidifier seems pointless in the summer… it is already hot and humid here…
If you are in the US you can buy a product called little nose, lie infant flat on her back put a couple drops in her nose wait 3 minutes then use a bulb suction to get all the mucous out. Elevate the head of her bed (use rolled up towels under her mastress or put cinder blocks under front 2 legs on the crib). There is also a humdifer that uses vicks that helps as well.
