what is the difference between evaporative and cool mist humidifiers?
we have a 3 month old baby and we need to get a humidifier?
what kind should we get?
evaporative
or
cool mist
we found some nice ones at sears?
Cool mist is more expensive and also requires frequent replacement of filters which are also expensive. Evaporators is cheaper and require little maintenance, but could be a hazard for the little ones. If you’re on budget and you can safely place the humidifer out of reach of your baby, evaporators would be the logical choice. If you live in style, get the cool mist.
