Vinegar doesnt remove the deposits on my warm steam humidifier?
I have a Kaz warm steam humidifier. The instructions say to pour white vinegar into the heating element part and let sit for 20 minutes, pour the vinegar out and wipe minerals off with a paper towel… that did nothing.
The water where I live has so much crap in it that I have to unscrew the faucet ends and soak them in vinegar twice a month so Im not surprised at this VERY quick buildup covering the whole heating unit to where I cant see its black color, but how do I get this stuff off?
skip the vinegar -the deposits are from minerals. when the unit is dry, gently chip off the deposits.
