What type of business sells radiator humidifiers?
I already called Target, ACE Hardware, Home Depot and they do not sell radiator humidifiers.
I have three cold mist humidifiers and have placed frying plans on top of my four radiators in the meantime, b/c the buckets are plastic I had on previously, and worried they may melt.
What I really want is a suggestion of what type of business or parts business I should contact for a radiator humidifier.
The radiators in my apartment are not base-boards. They are the old-fashioned type that have dials which control the heat output. I do not have a thermostat in my apartment and I do not want to live with the windows either for obvious health reasons. My apt. bldg. was built in 1921 and I live on the first floor of a two floor, 8 unit building. No one has thermostats in their apt. and the furnace room is directly beneath my apt. unit in the basement. So I live above the furnace room in a corner unit.
If you have experience with old rashioned radiator humidifiers please respond.
I, too, have the curse of the ancient radiators.
