Could it be dangerous to breathe humidified air?
I just got a brand new humidifier, for the two main rooms in my home. I also have an air cleaner. I have noticed a super fine white dust near the air cleaner intake only since I have had this humidifier running. Do you think minerals from the water are being put into the air and is it dangerous to breathe this? The humidifier has a brand new filter,and the water is purified.
It won’t be dangerous to breathe, it’s probably just dust/residue. However, you’ll want to wash the water chamber portion of the humidifier with warm soapy water every so often because old water can get stagnant & slimy if left to sit in the reservoir.
