do you have to use distilled water in a humidifier?
I’m sick and I want to use my humidifier. Its been in the closet because I haven’t used it forever. I can’t remember if I need to use distilled water or not. I really don’t want to drive to the store. Can I use water from the tap or water filtered through a pur water filter thing? Thanks.
Yes, you can use tap water. You might see a white dusty film on furniture after using the humidifier, but just wipe it up, it is no big deal. Rinse and dry your humidifier after you are done using it. Feel better soon!!
