Humidifier?
I tend to get a lot of Nosebleeds/ dry stuffy nose during the winter and allergy season. SO my question is what is the difference between a cool air humidifier vs a warm one. And my second question is what is the difference between a humidifier and a dehumidifier and which is better in my case? THANKS =}
I prefer the cool air humidifiers because there is less chance of burning yourself, but also because it seems you can run them longer without running out of water and burning out the motor. You can run them during the night while you sleep with no worries. They have been my preference with my boy who gets horrible coughs in winter. I also feel like the cold humidier saturatest the room air better.
I think a dehumidifier might be better for someone with constant allergy/lung issues. It’s a better long-term, year-round solution and very costly. Our needs are met with a simple humidifier.
