Movement sensor in crib with alarm? Congested please HELP!?
Where can I find the monitors that go under the crib matress or the baby that monitor breathing and movement? What are they called?
My son had RSV and now also has asthma at only 8weeks old and I am looking for something that will give me a piece of mind at night. He sleeps in his crib next to our bed, but is so congested all the time that I literally have to stay awake at night because I am so worried that he will not be able to breathe. We have tried humidifiers, propping up the top of his mattress, Vicks vapor rub (with doctors consent), nasal aspirators and saline drops, and he’s on prescription steroids for the 2nd time, and also on nebulizer treatments. Is there anything else I can do? Please help if you know of anything and also where I can get a monitor. Thanks in advance
My daughter is on a breathing monitoring device because she has obstructive sleep apnea and she stops breathing. This was something we got though our doctors. The doctor called up a company and they sent out a technician to show us how to use it that night. The machine is made by Respironics and it’s called the Smart Monitor 2. My insurance covers 90 percent of the cost and it still costs us 45 dollars a month. These machines are 5-6 thousand dollars to buy. Go see your doctor as soon as can be. I’ve spent many a nights without sleep trying to make sure my baby was still alive so I know how worried and tired you must be.
