9 month old fever and cough?
My 9 month old has a slight fever 100.4 and a cough that gets worse at night. We are running a humidifier in his room, but are looking for other suggestions that work. I have tried the wedge in the crib, but he ends up with his head angled down which defeats the purpose. I am looking for anything that will help him feel better.
I wouldn’t run the humidifier if it isn’t helping. it’s summer and humid enough and they can exacerbate allergies which can cause a cough. a cough can also be caused by reflux which is worse when you lay down. He may be teething and drooling which makes you cough. Try some baby tylenol and keeping him upright in a swing or propping up the crib itself with dictionaries or bricks.
