What can I do to help my three month old with pneumonia feel better?
My three month old daughter has pneumonia and she’s been caughing a lot and throwing up some too. She doesn’t sleep or eat well and k feel so bad for her. We for a humidifier for her nursery and I’ve been cuddling with her and trying to feed her but what else can I do to make her feel better? Also my husband will be gone from Wednesday to Friday so do youvhave any suggestions on how I can take care of her by myself?
It’s a good idea to take her in the bathroom with the shower on to let the warm steam get into her lungs. Then form your hand into a ‘c’ shape and gently tap against her back…it loosens the flem in her lungs to help her get it out faster. Unfortunately, there isn’t a whole lot more you can do. Just give her the medicine (if she was prescribed any), keep using the humidifier and keep her warm.
You will be fine doing it alone, just take it easy yourself and if you’re exhausted, sleep when she sleeps.
