Should I get a humidifier?

I know that keeping the temperature down will help, but I have it at 65F and don’t really want it any cooler. Do humidifiers work? Should I just keep one in my bedroom? My allergies are acting up really bad, and every morning I wake up with a sore dry throat and my hands and feet are very dry. (I drink a lot of water, so that’s not the problem). I also have psoriasis which is aggravated in the wintertime.
i have tried Benedryl and a slough of other antihystamines, none of them worked and I don’t want any more pills. I am not allergic to mold, I am allergic to dust and pollen, which is why I want it more humid.
Actually the humidifier is the worst thing to do, because humidity increases mold and fungal spores.
You need to have a regimen of using antihistamines, I recommend the older ones like Benadryl, Chlorphiramine, and Drexoral. They actually work better than the newer ones.
Also the temperature is better at 73 versus 65, colder temps lowers the dew point and is likely to increase humidity in the home.
