New humidifier smells?
Just purchased one of these http://www.sears.ca/product/kenmore-md-454l-digital-console-humidifier/42299820?ptag=1 humidifiers. We got an older display model at a much cheaper price.
It works great thus far. My husband disassembled it and cleaned it completely before setting up, and there’s a brand new filter in it.
Only problem- the air it’s blowing out smells exactly like synthetic bacon bits 
I’m a fan of bacon, but not so much plastic bacon smell stinking up the main floor. Any idea what could be causing this, and how to remedy it?
I think every new thing plastic thing stinks. My surround sound was stinking up the place for a month.
