Why Use A Humidifier?
Many homes have humidifiers for clean and fresh air. Human body requires moisturise to function properly, especially in the winter when even the oiliest skins get dried up. There are two types of humidifiers; warm mist humidifiers and cold mist humidifiers.
Warm humidifiers generates moisture in the air by producing steam by heating water and cold humidifiers uses spray to produce clean air. One of the many advantages of humidifiers is that it reduces skin irritation caused by lack of moisture as I mentioned in my previous blog. Especially when you have children it is always good to have humidifiers installed at home, because dry air can cause breathing problems for children, which can be prevented by having humidifiers. They can also get infections from dry air so it is vital to keep the air clean inside the house. Humidifiers can be purchases in different sizes, shapes and colours.
Humidifiers are also good for health, how? The added moisture in the room can prevent sore throat and runny nose. Some humidifiers come with air filters to collect germs, dusts and even smoke, which helps you from breathing polluted air. So now you see why it is also good for health.
I have two kids at home, never thought of buying a humidifier before but after reading few blogs and comments online I recently bought cold mist humidifiers. There is no specific reason on why I chose a cold humidifier, as I was told both of them do the same job but I just wanted a cooler air in my household. I can safely say that after getting a humidifier or Luftbefeuchter so called in German, the air inside my house has gone clean and cool and my wife has stopped complaining about her skin getting irritated, YES!!. This is definitely a good buy for husbands. Forget the diamond rings buy humidifiers.
