growing weed qusteion..?
you see that i am growing weed in my room in my chest thing in my room..i leave a humidifier in there to keep everything moist but i i just put the seeds in and covered them with soil.
if there is no light in the box will the seeds not continue to expand until the plant emerges from the surface of the soil?
so what i am, asking is can i leave the play in the chest withg the humidafier and no light until i start to see that the plant is peaking out of the surface of the soil?
it is winter right now and my mom doesnt know about this, she does even know i have done anything before.
so please help.

I germinated my seeds by putting them in a quadruple folded paper towel, wetting it, then putting it under my macbook pro laptop, where its warm and dark. No light needed for germination, just heat, wetness, and darkness is actually beneficial in this case.
Once the root tip is sprouted (make sure it gets pretty long before planting, but dont wait too long or it will die without light) plant in soil with the root facing DOWN. Do not expose roots to light (well if light hits it while your transferring its fine, but dont just leave them there in the light as if your trying to grow them like that.
I also recommend buying a light timer. After germination, the second stage of growth is the Vegetative state. On this state your plant is just growing leaves and stems. Put your lighting on 18 hours on, and 6 hours off. Fertilizer high in Nitrogen is very helpful. Do not start fertilizing until plant has been growing for 2 weeks, and wehn you do, ease it in… start with half the amount given. Also buy powdered fertilizers that you will mix in with water. Liquid fertilizers are more wasteful because you are paying more for water.
dont use the humidifier, that increases chance of mold, and plus its good to have a dry climate so then the plant thinks it needs to make more THC

After you think your plant is big enough, change the lighting schedule so it is on for about 8-12 hours, then off for 16-12 hours. This is the flowering stage of growth. You will want fertilizers high in potassium and phosphoros for this. DO NOT INTERRUPT DARKNESS DURING FLOWERING STAGE. Depending on what you have, it will take 36 days to 2.5 months to finish flowering. Get a magnifying glass and look at the trichomes, which are the little white hairs that look like glass mushrooms (this is where the THC , at the “cap” of the “mushroom”) And once they start turning amber or if the larger hairs start turning orange, then it’s ready to harvest.
To harvest, cut off all the big leaves, and hang the plant upside down for about two weeks in WELL VENTILATED AREA, or you risk mold. Or you can immediately put in freezer for a while, this increases purple color, which is desired. Then trim the smaller leaves off the buds and place them in paperbags…THEN they should be pretty much final, store the product in glass jars
