What are the benefits of having a leopard gecko? Or Green Anole?
I want a leopard gecko. Or maybe a green anole. The largest tank i would buy is 20 gallons. Does a green anole need live plants and a Humidifier? Would it need a small pond-ish water bowl? And does it need a rainforest type of habitat. Does the leopard gecko need sand? Dirt? How much Heat? A heater?. Overall are they both easy to handle or skwirmy? How much money for a leopard gecko+ its habitat? And for the anole?
No sand for the leo it will cause compaction which is either expensive surgery or death for the lizard. The leo needs a heater. you can not handle the anole, they dont like it and will stress them out. They are also likely to excape when you open the cage. Leos dont enjoy handling either not like beardies or well trained iguanas. Price wise, anole is cheaper but you cant do anything with them aside from watch them. They both will do well with a 20L(leo) or a 20H(Anole)
