Armstrong’s HumidiClean Ionic Bed Technology
It has a fibrous filtering medium that traps solids from the water as the temperature rises. This reduces mineral build up on the heat exchanger and the walls of the reservoir. Once the ionic beds have absorbed the minerals to their capacity, it alerts the user so that the ionic beds can be changed. There are three key advantages of the Ionic Bed Technology:

Armstrong’s GFH Gas-Fired HumidiClean humidifier series features the revolutionary Ionic Bed Technology. SteamEye is a wireless steam trap monitoring system specifically designed to constantly and accurately monitor steam traps and provide status updates every 3 minutes. It will detect a failed closed steam trap. The timely detection of these functions is critical to effective steam system management. The Armstrong HumidiPack,a prefabricated steam humidifier system, comes ready for insertion into the duct. It consists of a separator/header and multiple tube dispersion assembly. For use on pressurized steam, included are steam control valve, strainer, steam trap and a header drain trap. It is important to reduce the moisture, while admitting dry steam into the humidifier duct since the water-droplets from the dried steam before being absorbed by the air column inside the duct have to be prevented from colliding with any obstruction like vanes, coil, fan, filter and sensors.
