What can help me get over this cold?
I’m not looking for prescription ideas. I am already on prednisone for other reasons. The most cough syrup I can take is Delsym. Thats all I can take. I have a very mucusie cough and its affecting my asthma. I have been doing 2 regular treatments every 5-6 hours and a duo neb. Thats the only way to control this cough right now and loosen me up. I was going to put a humidifier in my room tonight. I need basic ideas like fluids, rest, sleep and hot showers. Please any advice could help me. I also get acupuncture and on Monday I’m going in again. I can’t use ANYTHING that could trigger any sort of allergic reaction. If I use cold water certain remifications have to be made. I’m also taking ib profen for sinus problems and doing nasal rinses. I need to be able to control my asthma while I’m sick like this. Duo nebs are great but they were supposed to be a last resort.
as you know soup is really good, take a lot of vitamin C, eat a lot of lemons, i am not sure if u can use this but claritin clear helps me a lot its not only for seasonal allergies.
